You can change your vote. I left that option open deliberately because it is a hard choice.

I voted Pickford because I think he deserved it. Goalkeepers rarely win these kind of votes and for him to do as well as he is in this vote shows just how strongly he played.

I can understand people going for Trippier. (Incidentally, I saw a tweet from Julian Cope’s wife saying “Gotta get him a Trippier shirt. It’s too perfect”).

I think Maguire deserves more votes. A couple of times he stormed upfield with the ball like a decent midfielder, beating a couple of players, and the rest of the team seemed a bit “wtf?” not realising he had this ability and didn’t know what to do. He’s definitely got a big future. He also came across as understated in his interview with Gabby.
