Where to watch classic Brit cult tv?

Karl Masks

Birds Angel Delight
Are these classics on any streaming service?

Shows like: Children of the Stones, Changes, Survivors, The Omega Factor, Sapphire and Steel.

Not Dr Who, I have the DVDs :D

Have a look at Britbox ? A friend of mine in the U.K. is bang into watching Sapphire and Steel and other similar stuff and she said it was on Britbox .

Thanks

I guess Youtube is the best bet. I tried watching Survivors (during the pandemic, it was oddly cathartic). Unfortunately the picture quality was dreadful.

From what I can see Britbox doesn't have these shows.

I’ve got Survivors on boxset. It’s worth getting if you get the one with the documentary and extras.

Some reason, I can’t get Britbox on my Samsung smart TV, although I’ve done freebies with on on the laptop to watch Classic Who.

i looked up the list of shows and Britbox does have S&S but it's not worth subbing just for that

Not streaming, but Network On Air have a brilliant range of classic British TV series on DVD/BluRay.

They keep adding new stuff, in fact they've just announced they're about to release every episode of Crossroad next month (a 94 DVD box set )

I've spent a small fortune with them over the years...

I'm probably stating the obvious, but have you got 'Talking Pictures TV' in your bit of the world? It's freeview channel 82 or thereabouts here. They show all sorts of old stuff, although couldn't say about any of the specifics you've mentioned, and there's an 'on demand' version on the red button if you have that sort of telly, or online.

I don't have a freeview set. I just watch on my ps4 so via streaming or the youtubes.
