Where can you sell cds/cassettes?

I've got 100s and 100s of both in the loft. Are they worth anything or do people just buy them by the kilo off ebay?

musicmagpie or somewhere might want the CDs, but the tapes either chuck, or sell at a bootsale. (after making copies if you want to keep any)

Yeah I used musicmagpie for all my odds and ends (CD's) that I couldn't shift on Ebay. Prices were only marginally better than nothing mind. I was quite lucky that I sold all mine when people were still buying them. Got a bit of a production line going in my bedroom and got £700 for the lot in the end. Most went for three or four quid but I had some nice surprises - a Spiritualized album of mine went for sixty quid.

Cassettes might be worth ebaying at moment. Id hold on to cds for a few years. Most will probably be pretty worthless anyway unfortunately

as with anything really - mostly worthless, some not due to mental collectors.

Don't chuck out your cassettes though, I'll have 'em.

If you're in London or Birmingham (I think they might have one or two other places around the country), Music & Video Exchange might pay you minimal amounts for them.
