What to do with leftover beef?

Cheers for the suggestions everyone - just made a massive beef stew with carrots, onions, button mushrooms, stock and wine. Think that was xes's suggestion?
Thing is, it won't be ready til nearly 11, but at least it will feed me for dinner and tea for two days and then it's Xmas Eve and more luxurious feasting. :)
 
Marinade it for extra succulence in some nut oil, soy/oyster sauce, chili, chopped coriander, garlic... maybe lil' bit of paprika? Then you could do like wee "oriental style" kebabs with the strips on a skewer, with some peppers n other veg on there too? Or maybe wham it in a stirfry; since it's already cooked don't add it in too early unless you want it nice and crunchy?

What about making a light batter n frying little bits of beef as some kind of side snackage? :cool:

Ahh, stew sounds good though...
