What’s your favourite visual gag in a film?

The end of Broadway Danny Rose, at Danny's Thanksgiving party. Assorted laughs.

Blind guest: Can I help?
Danny: No no, sit there, you'll fall over.

Parrot guest, ventriloquist. Only the balloon folder is missing.

I know what you meant and I had given it some thought, but if you check the thread I wasn’t the first one to reference TV series by a long shot, so I concluded the thread title’s goalpost-moving exercise was de facto accepted.
Another one who didn’t read the OP!

Some overlap at the end, but here's Woody on form, and giving advice to his balloon folding act at 2.45.

TBF to me I read some of it, and the thread title kind of tells you everything you need to know to get going. Didn’t the words ‘or TV’ fit in the title anyway? Because it would have made more sense to put it there if we want to be picky ;)

Admittedly if I see a video embedded in a post, you could type ‘I’ll give you five grand if you post the word bananas’ in block capitals and I would probably still miss it.

The first sentence of the OP ffs!

Admit it, OU: the ‘TV series also accepted’ should really have been part of the title, being an integral part of the very premise of the thread. Don’t blame others for your not entirely concise thread description :p

I didn’t want it to be part of the original title though

Evil Dead 2 - Ash has just cut off his own arm, which has come back to life and is trying to kill him (naturally). He manages to trap his possessed arm under a bucket, and weighs it down with a book.
The book is A Farewell to Arms.

Roger Rabbit - booby trap.

May favourite sight gag from that film:

Can we spoiler stuff involving Woody Allen please?
I haven't even been a fan of his work since the early 90s but no solid evidence has ever been produced that Allen has done anything illegal and there have been two thorough investigations. It's not even a case of "guilty till proven innocent" legally there is no case. I think we should stick with that, considering that there are almost as many damaging allegations about Mia Farrow as there are against Allen. Much of the case against Allen is down to misreporting and misunderstanding of the facts. This is a nasty and complex family feud, not a cut and dry case.

Also, where do we draw the line here ? Unlike Allen, Harvey Weinstein is a convicted serial sex offender. Before I mention a film from the last three decades, do I have to google whether it was produced by him, to then put it in a spoiler if it was ?

I'll just ignore this thread.

There's a nice visual gag at the end of the first series of Peep Show, set up by Toni telling Jeremy not to get stuck in the past.

“My dad died when I was three, but it didn't screw me up. I don't waste my life trying to fill a dad-shaped hole...”
