We haven't really settled on a local yet. The Flower Pot gets on my nerves a bit after a promising enough start. It always takes ages to get served for no apparent reason, you have to remind them to turn on games, ask to turn up volume etc. etc.
No big deal but it could be so much better in there if it was run with a bit more attention.

I'm pretty much next to Whipps Cross Hospital, been here a year and a half since moving from Brixton, although before the 3 years I was there I spent 8 years in Leytonstone so it's familiar territory.... When people ask where I live I usually say Walthamstow, but technically it's just inside Leyton if you look at the boundaries of the old boroughs. This area has pretty much no character though because Lea Bridge Road is a horrible place to spend any time. I'm hoping the Mini Holland work will change that and "Whipps Cross" starts feeling like a place
