Tune ID help! * Danger: ear worm quarantine

danny la rouge

More like *fanny* la rouge!
OK folks, I've had this tune snippet in my head for a couple of days now and I can't name it. It's a 60s style groovy-humorous (or humorous-groovy) tune, probably the soundtrack of a film.

I've recorded the bit I can remember (as I remember it!, which may be a bit off).

Anyone able to name it? Cheers.

Now I have to work out why I was humming it! Any psychiatrists in the house?
the answer is probably somewhere in here:

I've got an earworm of this now.

I've been whistling the first bars that Danny posted in the OP around the office, hoping to pass it on to everyone else.

me too :mad::mad::mad::mad:

ive got an ID , maybe you know it danny la rouge ...the only lyrics i remember go
We've known each other for so long
Your heart's been aching but you're too shy to say it
Inside we both know what's been going on
We know the game and we're gonna play it
Even Rick rolling me won't dislodge it!

I've had it for days now. I'm currently playing Jorge Boulet doing Lisdt loud to try and get rid of it, but my brain is still shouting the Mancini over the top of it!

danny la rouge thanks for this night shift I am due to finish in about an hour. I have been cursed and threatened for whistling that awful tune all night!
One lad said it's bad enough whistling it but you are adding the rythym section too!
Ah well at least it brought some sunshine into an otherwise droll shift!

This is an early to mid 90s rave tune. It starts off with quite a thick padded (vocal sampled and layered?) sound, and then slowly a machine gun style bass line starts to fade in. Every now and again, the ubiquitous "Wooo!" along with ,"Come on! come on!" fills the gap.

I had this song in my head a while back, and after about an hour or so, I found it but I'll be jiggered if I can find it again. And it's been almost three hours of searching Youtube this time.

Cheers

The Patagonian nose flute riff that starts c.1:13 and plays forfuckingever does my fucking nut in.

I swear my gym plays that fucker on loop. Fuckers.
