I have heard that there is to be a roof terrace to give outdoor seating. Is that right?Hey all - I'm the project manager and designer for Queen of the South so if you have any questions, shoot them my way.

Great to hear, and hoping it will be wheelchair accessible?Hey all - I'm the project manager and designer for Queen of the South so if you have any questions, shoot them my way.
That would be ace. I was looking at satellite pics earlier to check if the property could allow for a back garden, which doesn’t look like from the Google Maps pic…I have heard that there is to be a roof terrace to give outdoor seating. Is that right?
On Google maps it looks like a flat roof at the back, but it would be on the third story. So bit of a hike up there unless they'll be an upper bar. Probably would be a bit of a pokey smoking den if it went ahead. That would be ace. Not scurrilous. She bought her flat on Brailsford Rd through RtB, now rents it out while flitting between a property she shares with her boyfriend, & her mum's place on Effra Rd.Excuse me if I'm out of area, but I saw a scurrilous allegation on Twitter which said Cllr Marcia Cameron owned a right-to-buy property which she rents out - presumably at market rent.
She's running again. Is it true wot was on Twitter? - and if so is this form of landlordism now the accepted norm for Labour councillors?

Three years later.
One murdered child.
Four arrests.
No-one charged (to date).
Many people traumatised.
Anyone with information knows what to do.
And another one last nightJust saw Lambeth Police twitter tweet out that they were called out to a shooting at 9.40 tonight. The victim is on hospital and they await an update on his condition
The scaffolding is apparently coming down on the new Queen of the South. I wonder how long until opening day?
If you'd like Brixton Buzz to do an 'in progress' feature or some pre publicity, send me a message!Scaffolding is indeed coming down and we are 4-6 weeks from opening fingers crossed! We've been contending with an awful lot of build issues, have given the whole building new foundations, a whole new roof, a completely new internal structure and that's before we even got to the design so it's very much a labour of love but we CANNOT WAIT to show you all the love and hard work that's gone into it and hope you love it as much as we do.
That is so kind, we would love that!If you'd like Brixton Buzz to do an 'in progress' feature or some pre publicity, send me a message!

Indeed, it will be healthy to have some decent competition in the area for The Railway, the hotel is a very boring place to drink, Knowles isnt too bad but i have never really warmed to it for some reason.Good to see they will show football (but then I guess some people might not be so chuffed about that).
Haven’t even tried Knowles yet. Nothing against it- I reckon there’s something about the layout and design of the place that subconsciously tells my mind ‘this is not a pub’.Indeed, it will be healthy to have some decent competition in the area for The Railway, the hotel is a very boring place to drink, Knowles isnt too bad but i have never really warmed to it for some reason.
Since they opened up the other side of Knowles it feels like an airport departure lounge.
what other side ? haven't been there for a whileSince they opened up the other side of Knowles it feels like an airport departure lounge.
Some of the prices at the Railway border on rip off.It does feel far too sterile, it's popular with mums with prams and toddlers, which isn't everyone's vibe, myself included. It's cheaper than The Railway though, especially their own brand Portobello beers. Worth noting The Railway does do cheaper beers in the week daytimes, but after 5 or 6 and on weekends it becomes Zone 1 prices.
