Travelling around Portugal towards northern Spain

No, i am not artistic. Nor having to hustle. The heat makes it interesting for sure. As in I have to make sure i have water enough, not alot of planning has been made so i dont really know where I am spending each night. Or even if i will go all the way to Santiago, i did Porto to Santiago last year and am thinking i might just make it as far as there and then go for a smoke in Amsterdam or Barcelona.

A light hearted comment - well done for having a go. My wife fancies doing some of this walk - but she really struggles with the heat. Really not for her.

I did the last part Porto to Santiago last year in May i think and it was a bit more comfortable.

Bad enough here in Hertfordshire (I have to do a formal suit and so on thing in the morning and am dreading it) , however the news mentioned 42 degrees in Bordeaux - pretty crap on the London Underground this evening with no air con.(as my son has just staggered in exhausted from work)

Off topic - good luck. Enjoy.

Got as far as Tomar, but the lack of pilgrims in the area is concerning. Due to the heat, its wildfire season, walking through moutainous eucalyptus forests on my own gave me a slight worry. Been buzzed by fire fighting planes through forests which are basically rolling paper and seeing the reports on news channels in every cafe i am stopping in puts it to the front of your mind. So am taking the train to Porto today as there are more pilgrims on that part of the route.
Still, fantastic for contemplation and conversations with God.
