Travel Insurance with a health condition

We're leaving on a jet plane...well just a week in Turkey, but it's going to be the first time either of us have left the country for a good few years. Looking into travel insurance at the moment and wondering if there are any good companies to look at if you have a pre existing medical condition? My partner has endometriosis, its not going to be an issue which requires medical attention whilst we are away (in fact if it got so bad in a way I can't imagine, we'd probably just book flights home). However I guess the concern in the back of my mind is that they might use it as an excuse not to pay out for something else. Am I overthinking this or is it worth finding someone more specialist?

I use Staysure. I've never made a claim so I can't speak to how good they are at that but they were good (and easy) to deal with round the medical condition thing. I also didn't specially notice that it was much more expensive than 'normal' travel insurance.

I doubt endometriosis will make any difference. I have that and a load of other things and it wasn't until I was diagnosed with a heart problem that my insurance quotes increased significantly. Be completely honest or they will definitely refuse to pay out.

I have asthma with ebough meds that I need to declare it and found that compare the market was useful as it has a pre-existing condition search. Then I just went for the same insurer's I'd normally go for.
