Nah, I just finished my business and scooped her up in my hand. Was no real danger, aside from her speed.

Bit different from when I was in a really dodgy reptile shop years ago and the owner was showing a lovely scorpion. It made a break for it. Now there's two ways you can pick up a scorpion. You can either scoop your hand underneath it or grab it by the tail and place it in your hand. I did the latter and put it back. That was when the owner, who had gone pale, told me it was a bark scorpion n therefore... spicy.

I may have called him a name that rhymes with 'hunt'

I don’t approve of the way this content creator mistreats the spiders but the footage he gets as a result is wonderful.

Teasing this spider with a drop of water on the head, getting a spider high on coffee, taunting a slider with a reflection of itself, all highly questionable stuff.


He does seem to like and enjoy his spiders, but he doesn’t seem to recognise that they may well be sentient and not like being teased and taunted and manipulated.


He seems to breed them, so he does know how they tick to some extent.
