The usual observation is that it took Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood to replace Steve Marriott. Which is quite a statement in itself.

We went to see this a few years ago as ms starfish got to know Carol Harrison through a screenwriting course. It was pretty damn good & i would recomnend anyone with an interest to try & see it if its still touring.

I bumped into Billy Connolly at a folk festival years ago. Like the master of wit and repartee that I am I said:
“You’re Billy Connolly”.

“I know”, he drawled.

I still wake up thinking about that.
