porsche_944_turbo_001_1024.jpg

Poor mans 911 in black. Dated looky, boxy, daft ugly plastic spoiler.

Love them though. Many of them on the roads look right tatty, but every now and again I see a cared for one and think "want!".

didn't the escort mexico have a sloping nose round lights.

As a kid Ford Capri Laser black red strip Mark 3 was The Professionals
To add my mate older brother had a 2.8 remember sitting in front seat just about able to see over dashboard looking at long bonnet.
sitting in front was a big thing but sitting in a Capri 2.8

Ok, there was a car I quite liked ... it does look a little more dated now, but I still like it ..

BMW 635CSI

I had a friend in the Netherlands who had a Citroen DS. He took me for a ride in it the last time I was there, it was stylish and classy and totally unique. My friend has since died and I have no idea what has been done with his car.

I actually know how scary and shit these are to drive (having driven one 1 mile, stalled twice, half spun it once), but I don't care. I'd just have it in a garage and gaze at it's complete mentalness:

I'd also get the missus to do this in honour of my fave Lambo poster...

When you do you'll have to post the picture!

I used to have weird dreams about dying in one of these, I'd still like one.

Best toy car I had at the time. Still want an F40 too, bedroom walls covered in posters and calendars of it when I was 10

Yes, I like the Vantage ..

I also like the racing version of the E Type Jaguar. I think it may have been the D Type.

I fancied one of these

Yeah, so have I.

Came very close to buying one once, in fact went to see it and took it out for a drive but came to the conclusion it wouldn't have been up to modern driving. I was using the M25 to go to work at the time.

Went for a 1967 Volvo 1800S instead. :)

I once had to get some emergency alloy welding done in France on a friday night and I was referred to this guy who had a big nissin hut full of equipment. He also had a big collection of old French cars like that, they were all in near perfect nick. Anyhow he welded up the hole in my motorcycle engine and would not take any payment for it. Top bloke.

When I was 7, my uncle moved to France and bought one of these. I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. A top speed of 109mph

The car that I wanted when I was a teen and still do is this one;

If Santa could deliver me a 1956 Mercedes W196 'Streamliner' then that would be quite nice, ta:

#Any old school James Bond car ( Espirit/ Aston with Skis)

and my current car....

removed as it had reg on eeeeet

As a kid, when i fist started to notice cars, around 8/9 years old so 1981, I was totally in love with the Golf GTi. Remember the first time i saw one, bright red (now I know this to be MarsRed) i just stared at it for ages.

Now i own a 1983 GX, the final year's run-out model with GTi interior spec, but a 1.5 as oposed to 1.8. I decided against the GTI as so many had been ragged around for 25+ years, and this had a new engine
same here mate, i fell in love with the GTIs as soon as they came out, and eventually got one as my first car when i was 19. a 1982 1600. fucking loved that car until it disintegrated... newspaper mixed with filler don't make for solid sills. :(

i still want an early Porsche 911 Targa:

I was a Countach fan, but the one i really wanted was the Miura. I think it's still one of the best-looking sports cars ever made.

The baddies always drove these cars in the Sweeney and since I was a kid I'd always wanted one and finally did a few years ago. :)
