I'm gonna appear daft as hell here but does anyone else only listen to Techno in the darkest depths of winter?

Not me. I absolutely love some dark and hard techno on a bright sunny day. I was wandering round in the sunshine on Saturday listening to Ancient Methods. Can't beat it.

Techno, like most music*, sounds better in cold weather. Autumn is best for techno, IMO.

But I listen to it any time.

I think it's the walking really. It's great on the headphones for just going for a walk and I'm more likely to do that on a sunny day than a gloomy day in winter.

One of the most innovative producers of the 90s. you heard his coldrush/gloomcore stuff? superb, shits over all of that berghain techno.

Aye it was, the mover, followed by ben pest then perc & truss iirc..... it was a good three hours.

Nice. saw Ben Pest in Sheffield the other month and dexorcist going into some proper magnetic north shit - why don't more djs play above 150 these days? I wouldn't mind hearing some 215 french speedcore personally!
