That was my first response too!

Thinking about it though, I doubt Pulp were ever particularly popular outside of the UK. Probably just a bit too English for the rest of the world! :D :cool:

No, I don't think Pulp ever became big in the US....maybe on the college charts but not mainstream.
 
I have just discovered The Black Heart Procession, and am rather annoyed at myself for not having done so earlier. They are like a cross between Afghan Whigs, God Machine and Arcade Fire, and very very good indeed.

I concur. Love their 'Amore Del Tropico' album and the song 'It's a Crime I Never Told You About the Diamonds in Your Eyes' (which got me into them). Pretty good live too :cool:
