The Moto G Phone, £135 yet decent smart phone.

The Pixel 6a is well worth the extra outlay (around £280 new on Amazon) - superb camera, good battery life and Google goodness.
I ended up splashing out and getting one of these. All good so far, apart from the battery life. Needs charging every day, maybe some adjustments can be made.

I charge my 6 overnight and with adaptive charging it preserves the battery by being full by the time my alarm goes.

Yes, definitely have adaptive charging on if you have it Maggot

Also, adaptive battery is another setting you can use to improve battery life.

And turn stuff off at night like location and Bluetooth, WiFi and data too if you're hardcore.

Anyone know why this one is

They're coming up the same price for me but the first one seems to have a higher spec - dual sim, bigger possible memory expansion ...

The second one is the better phone.
The pricing is because the first one was higher spec when it was released, but the second one, despite being a lower tier, is newer and ends up being better for it. It's common in consumer electronics and just means that phone A hasn't yet had the price reduction that it should have. (or phone B is massively on sale)

There is not a massive difference between them, to be honest. But with Motorola support length being so pathetic, you want the newest one you can get.

My Moto G8 Power Lite is beginning to die (slow, freezes up, little bit of screen damage etc). I really liked the shape/hand feel and user experience of this phone. John Lewis currently have the G24 for £99 which looks a very similar shape and size compared to the more recent ones which looks squarer. Does anyone know if I will get into bother transferring my SIM to that phone? The new one says it uses a nano SIM but I don't know what the old one uses and I don't presently have a little doohickey to remove it and check.
