WHile at times it seems like they are making it up as they go along its generally good, and brings it back at the end 28 days later style.

Lifeforce is a glorious mess of a film. Pops up on SciFi now & again and well worth seeing.

Worth checking out Evil Aliens too. Full of "WTF??!" moments, but it knows it is taking the piss out of the genre. In contrast, the charm of Lifeforce is that it was trying to be a blockbuster. Must have seemed like a good idea on paper to the fairly high profile cast they roped in...

I don't watch Gavin and Stacey. I do watch 80's space vampire films. The SAS guy is the bloke out of Spooks. The IMDB trivia is interesting. Apparently Lifeforce nearly had Klaus Kinski and Gielguld in it.. now that would have been interesting!! And the Alien Spaceship was based on an artichoke (or possibly even made from one)
