The decline of Beanfeast

Sticking up for you Vegetarians: I don't think you need to imitate Carnivore food /Meat-eaters, I know an Indian girl, Indians have a long history of vegetarian cooking /food and her food is delightful! i don't even notice I haven't eaten animal products (meat, egg, milk etc.) not a soya cube or meat substitute in sight. Delicious.

Amen. And eliminate that other evil 'quorn' from your diets too...espec the frozen stuffs....

Maggot, asda still do the bolognaise one. They did start stocking granose shepherds pie mix, box of two for 80p but stopped that last month here in the north east. Supply and demand though, I stock up on veg products when I'm back visiting in Liverpool. Two heads here if you don't eat beef dripping.

Thanks. I've ordered a bulk load on -line.

I don't understand your last sentence.

They look at you like you have two heads in the north east if you don't like beef dripping butties. Sorry if it was written a bit vague. Where did you order from Maggot?

I've just bought a load from my local supermarket, in case they stop selling them.

I think there was a plain mince one, and I can't remember what the other one was.
It was curry! My mum and dad used to buy it for me when I was going veggie as a pre-teen.

I’m sorry, it sounds revolting. I dread to think what chemicals get put in those ultra processed instant foods. And the rest..

“Beanfeast was the focus of protests against its manufacturer, Unilever, when it was found to contain genetically modified (GM) soya. The sales of the product dropped by 50%. After a meeting with Greenpeace in April 1999,[2] Unilever agreed to remove GM ingredients.”

I’m also amazed Smash is still a thing.

That would make me deliberately eat it.
