The Cycling Chat Thread

I went for the FX3 in the end, mostly for the weight savings, but the slightly nicer gears are a plus.
Managed to find what must be the last one in Large in the whole country judging by all the big websites, at a shop that happens to be just down the road :) They didn't have it in red :(
I love my new bike. I've already been thankful of the dynamo lights after forgetting to unplug my main set from charging. The more upright position is more relaxing and I can see further. The gearing and weight is just right. I can be off the line like a shot and be cruising in no time. On my first commute another cyclist complimented me on it at the lights and asked where the battery was hiding. No battery! I said, slapping my thigh :D The big fat tires aren't my favorite but they'll do till they need replacing with something a little slimmer.
The seat presses on a different bit of my bum which will take getting used to, and I am going to have to get some differernt handlebars so that my wrists are actually aligned with my arms instead of tilted to the side. Some advice here would be nice actually. I don't want full-on dutch-style bars that curve almost all the way round, which would push me even further upright. Just something half way between my old drop bars and the straight ones I've got now.
