It is with great sadness that we have to announce that this month will see the last ever Brixton Ping Pong Society meet up at the Grosvenor, Stockwell! The home to our monthly Society meet ups for over a year now has finally succumbed to the continuation of the gentrification of our neighbourhood. The pub has been bought by property developers and the Landlord, John, has decided it is time for him to move on. We would like to thank John for giving us a home and helping us kick start the society. We've met many people at the meetings and hopefully have encouraged a few to pick up a paddle and little white ball for the first time in years.
Of course it is now Summer, so we will be doing some outdoor Ping Pong events, including some Picnics at the Windmill, and possibly other locations,
to be sought and announced at a later date. Please help us make our last Grosvenor meeting a memorable one and come and join us. As always there'll be toe tapping tunes, fine Ales on tap and an eclectic bunch of waffling folk. Free entry. Loads of bats and balls. All welcome, whatever level of talent.
