Absolutely agreed.

I meant rock solid compared to some fake semi auto Aygo or something with a transmission made of cardboard.

Apparently the IS200 is super popular in Ireland and they've gone up in price partly because so many are being exported. True?

Yeah, jazz, Yaris, Corolla etc are all on the radar

Some of the Jazzes are not proper autos but semi auto bullshit so be careful. Avoid the shit iShifts pre 2011. Also dont buy one from pre 2009 unless v cheap as theyre a prime target for cat converter theft. Hope an auto car works out well!!

Writing from experience, the older they get, the more they need doing. On top of other recent things, my 21 year old has just had her original brake pipes replaced 😱
The trouble is sir, it's a big engine in a tiny little engine bay. Over 3 hours work.

Think the only Alfas I'd like to own are the 1750/2000 Bertone GTV and the early Alfetta GTV, both beautiful shapes. :)

Oh and a Giulietta SS.

I bought a '22 Cupra Formentor about three weeks ago, it's a very nice car to drive, but for fun I still prefer to drive my '11 GTD Golf. It has less bhp but its so much more fun to drive quickly. As much as I know I should get rid of it, it's hardly used now, I might keep it just for the fun of it.

Guiletta SS or Guila SS. Beautiful car but not sure about driving it.
My Brera was very comfortable but very stodgy to drive. Whereas my GTV ( phase 3, V6 3.2) has a beautiful engine and goes like stink but not that comfortable. Sadly, she might have to go next summer.

Im selling my IS200 auto for £1000. Fucking great car will be sad to see it go but im off to Portugal for the winter. It's been a fun 6 months in it.

Looks like the Irish lads who are mad for them are gonna come take it. Anyone sold a car for export before? How hard is it and what do I do?

Fuck sake ive just spent days looking at IS200s again. Also IS250 petrol automatics... which no one seems to love at all, no massive fanboys like the IS200 but you can get a decent one for a grand!! bargain....

Seen some tatty IS200 manuals in various conditions which I'm consider as a flip. Only £1500 for one of them...Enjoy for a month and sell on after sorting issues. They are going for decent money nowadays. Or another dirt cheap auto which tbh what I prefer to drive nowadays.. plus the auto has cruise control baby
