South Korea v Algeria (Group H) Sunday 22nd June

That's a style of play. Some teams actually seem to forget that the goal is the goal. Maybe Spain have reached that point.
Well, right now Portugal is being really trying to make Ronaldo look good, not so much in the rest of the stuff, like defending and scoring goals and general discipline :D

Do they whistle when the ref makes a controversial decision?
As the editor noted earlier on, they seem to whistle when South Korea has the ball. I don't know if it's something the Algerian supporters are doing.

It's a bit off putting. Can't the crowd cheer or sing instead like most people do.

OK, i have to stop following this thread so closely. That's the second time today that i learned about a goal in the thread before i saw it on my screen.

I have to watch the games online, through Spanish-language channel Univision, because the group games are not available on free-to-air TV in the United States, and it's clear that Univision's web feed is about a minute behind real time.

Shit! That was liquid football

Another great match, well done Algeria

I was just having a fag on my balcony when a couple of open top cars packed full of young Algerians sped past; horns blaring, chanting, flags waving :D
