Sooo... I found a baby fox

Any update on Gareth, wiskey?
When Gareth found out what wiskey was up to he showed his true self and killed his host family.

I'm sure we'll get an update when Gareth learns how to post.

Bump bump .....
I've noticed a frequent fox in my garden, it usually wanders up to the French doors and I tell it to go away through the glass!

But just now I was in the bathroom looking out of the window, down on to the garden and I saw it again and it is a she with a cub, possibly more. She has dug a burrow? set? Next to the shed....I wondered why I had big mounds of earth appear in my garden.

I haven't actually been in my garden for over a year, mostly because the yogis next door overlook me and have ignored my request to provide the same amount of obscurity that I had before I stupidly accommodated their building works by letting them take the tree in my garden down and the fence. They have replaced the old fence with a slatted version that gives me and them no privacy.

I will be getting a solid fence put up at some point....
Anyway.......I have questions....Will the fox family eventually move on? Or will I have to get rid of them?

Foxes raise young in a den. Usually the pair but sometimes just the vixen.

Urban foxes are good at controlling rabbits and rats etc. Not usually a problem for cats, hedgehogs etc, they co-exist quite happily.

Only potential problem might be if the fox develops mange - in which case at least one of the fox rescue charities or a vet will supply you with stuff to put in some dog food.

Den! That's it! Damn my adhd menopausal brain!

We have a vixen who has cubs in a den under the garden shed. Only twice in the last 20 years. So I assume she/they move on and have dens elsewhere.
The cubs play in the garden during the summer, usually at night but sometimes during the day. They will have grown up and moved on by winter.

A fence won't stop foxes, they are quite agile and can climb fences.

Thing is I don't want them....its a small garden and at some point a new fence is going to go up so that I can actually be in my garden. There is a massive leafy graveyard one garden away.

What can I do?

Most important thing is to keep the garden clean and tidy.

Also, they don't like it if you move things around regularly.

If you can get it, sprinkle human hair and men's urine around the den.

Turn the hose on them if you see them.

You can also buy both spay and sonic fox deterrents.

Nuclear option - dig out the den, or block the holes (when they're not in it).

I have a fox trap, but they're not cheap (and you're a bit far away for a lens of it).

Yes under my shed!
The fence is for the neighbours! :D Not the Foxes.

I dont really know what you mean by a clean garden? My garden is pretty untouched. It had a tidy over a year ago. So soon it will have another one and a fence put up. So hopefully that will encourage them to move on.
However all the other options sound great for the neighbours 😀

I hope you're joking. If not then you're more of a horrible prick than I realised.. What suggestions Jesus

If you can get it :D oh we can get it, you're providing it while we hose you.
