snacks between dinner and tea deserve their own thread

Pickman's model Please define your use of 'dinner' and 'tea' here, as in approximate time of meals.
I'll assume you're a Merman in human form, like Madison from Splash. Rather than graze on krill all day, on land we have a midday meal called dinner and an evening meal, around 6pm, called tea.

I wanna be where the people are,
I wanna see, wanna see them dancing
!

After I got home from work I had two boiled eggs and three stalks of celery. I'm about to have dinner so that's the end of the snacks within the remit of this thread.

What about late night snacks? wha'ts the issue you take with food eaten after dinner/tea time eh?

I've just made another snack: Sliced up a tortilla into many triangles and then fried them until golden. Drained the oil off in a colander cos we ain't got any kitchen roll. Then once I put them on a plate, I sprinkled some sea salt and chilli powder (there's a theme here) on them and some spring onions chopped up really tiny. OH said they were "really good"
