Wasn't sure where to post this. Just heard about it on the Robert Elms show on BBC London today. Free showing of films made on Dog Kennel Hill in Edwardian times.

I got a text from one of the organisers who said they have wet weather arrangements. I'd love to go but have other plans.
Should be good! They've been planning it for ages.

But they are early films made right there on Dog Kennel Hill - I'm hoping that they might have used the local area in the films. Might be worth taking a break from studies for a while?

Maybe... I'll have a think! If you visit Croydon Museum. they have early films made in the area. Do you know about Fred Karno's Fun factory in loughborough Junction?

No I didn't in the end - girlf not well and I didn't fancy going on my own. Would love to see those films if anyone hears of another showing.

I'll keep my eye out for anything. The cinema museum usually puts some good events on.
