Fanzone in boro - overly genteel atmosphere and shouts of 'well, best of luck to out Croatian friends in the next round'.
Home - cheaper beer, weed, oven chips but little sense of occasion to tell non-existent grandkids about.
Incidentally, I'm in Rochdale at the moment and the punters in the pub over the road are still chanting from this afternoon.

last match we actually spent more time discussing the principle of socialised healthcare and I got to the point where we will force people to be correct because the other alternative is the goddamn capitalists and we know how they are worth only the bad end of a bullet amirite, its a necessity not a nice idea.
I'd never have got that chat shoehorned into an eventful game. Admittedly pickford was tested but he just dealt with it.

Little One didn't enjoy the fanzone yesterday, he cried when we scored and everyone shouted. He looked very scared and slightly traumatised for several minutes afterwards. We will probably watch at home.
