What does it mean to be "liberated"? For LGBT people, our lives and our bodies are fair game in the media, in the state, in the home, in the workplace, in the eyes of organised religion. The lives and bodies of the working class are fair game for capitalism, and when austerity cuts into the lives of workers it hits oppressed groups the hardest and stirs up bigotry - unless we organise for a united fightback.
The fight against capitalism is about making human beings all over the world, proud to be among one another, proud to respect one another, proud to recognise and satisfy human needs without exploiting each other, proud to be rational and equal, proud to be radical in our struggles against homophobia and against every form of oppression.
Join us for an evening of discussion, drinks and celebration of anti-capitalist LGBT politics! There will be plenty of time for discussion and relaxed socialising.''
