Oh, only to cars I believe, closed to everything else. I mean nobody should be driving in a red warning anyway. AFAIK the only thing that completely shuts the new bridge is ice on the cables.

Well my sister (Glasgow) has reported that apart from some bits falling off her building and the bins out the back being all over the place, no damage done. But her planned walk at 5pm didn't happen as it's still 'quite windy'.

Mate based in Edinburgh for work went to Haddington for a meeting then out to lunch then back to office as the skylight had blown open so he had to call the company handyman

A good mate but would be a nightmare as a boss as he expects you to love work as much as he does
