Recommend me some brogues

well those french connection ones have been good, they're comfortable, they got a resole/heel already as it wore down pretty quick but they get heavy use and the uppers are fine. they're obv not £120 shoes but £33 is a good deal imo.

I just bought some 2nd hand black loakes (the bottom end of the range) so I don't have to wear the same shoes every day... def getting a rubber coating on the sole though. hoping the size 10 will not be too big.

Not sure though. Brogue boots are okay with jeans, right? Or do I stick with the classic 8 eye?

Well, I bought them. Sizing is generous; I am usually 10 1/2, but 10 are a nice fit. They are well made - not as nice quality as my Loake Bedale but good for the price.
