What about Hal Hartley's Trust from the same period?

Love his films. Haven’t seen any for ages. Which is the one where they dance to Sonic Youth? What about Hal Hartley's Trust from the same period?

Stilman’s world is just too insufferably privileged for meDon't think it's that one. Funny you like his films but hate Metropolitan. I always associate Metropolitan with Trust. Probably just me . . . that and I saw them both around the same period.
I’m only going to say three words to you, shut the fuck up!Anybody recommended Midnight Run yet?
Thought it was a bit shitThe Dead Don't Die is now on Sky if you happen to have a Sky Movies subscription.
What we do in the shadows. Was on iPlayer
Evertyjng that guy has made has been brilliant. I don’t like superhero films usually but Thor ragnarok was very very funny. Must have been a big gamble by the studio to give him the job.
The MCU films now mostly hire directors who before made small but critically acclaimed indie and art house films and they are still getting more esoteric in their choices. I like Waititi a lot, What We Do in the Shadows is probably my favourite comedy of the last couple of decades and his Thor movie was a blast but I hated Jojo Rabbit.Evertyjng that guy has made has been brilliant. SeenThe Magic Christian
Peter Sellers is an eccentric millionaire who perpetrates pranks. Ringo Starr is the young tramp who becomes his adopted son. Hijinks ensue.
Might still be on youtube.
I've just seen that he also made The Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Hadn't realised that. That's a great film, too.The MCU films now mostly hire directors who before made small but critically acclaimed indie and art house films and they are still getting more esoteric in their choices. loved itElection is funny, it's on iPlayer.
I really enjoyed it. Especially the ball suckingIf you have very low standards, Netflix has the Brothers Grimsby
I laughed a lot
Boy is brilliant.Boy is supposed to be great too
Yeah, that was actually a decent, funny, entertaining and good looking film using characters from previous films that have bored my tits off.Evertyjng that guy has made has been brilliant. Ok, but I don't think it lives up to the hype. I expected a much much smarter movie, but it really is just a girl flip on the normal coming of age / turning point in life freindship film. Not terrible.Book Smart
Did he do that? I loved that at the time.Forgot he also did Eagle Vs Shark, which I liked.
Can't wait to see what he does with Flash Gordon
