no it definitely wasn't welsh. it was, just...odd. maybe somewhere obscure in the midlands. looks like it was filmed in hastings though

well, it was welsh. i was just confused.
good film though. it did the teen angst/self-serving behaviour thing spot on. and it was funny. paddy considine was a bit of a waste though.

Of the stuff I have seen in the last year or two - Easy A, In Bruges, Blades of Glory, Four Lions are probably the only things I would pass off as recommendations. Though the first is barely a comedy.

Comedy in recent years seems to have been decimated by Steve Carrell, Seth Rogen and Will Ferrell. I remember going to see 40year old virgin as a date movies a number of years back and laughing twice in the whole two hours it was on screen.
