It is. I can't believe he got away with it for as long as he did. The illegal marriage to a 15-year-old Aaliyah should have been a big red flag, even in 1994.

Yeah, it wouldn't amaze me if he'd convinced Aaliyah that her success in the music business would be affected if she didn't sleep with him. Of course we'll never know, as she's no longer here to tell us. Apparently he'd been "mentoring" her since she was 12. Fucking sick.
