Paper Lace are a top 50 band in music history.

A380

How do I change this 'custom title' thing then?
From the social commentary of ‘The night Chicago Died’ the the tragedy and pathos of ‘Billy don’t be a hero’ I think we can all agree that Paper Lace rightfully stand tall in the animals of music history.

I for one rarely listen to anything else.

Yes. they were a massive influence in me not listening to them. Which I know reads like critisicsm. But think a little deper. Stand back a bit and realise, by through not listening, that is in fact a high aclaim of their worth. For what is left but me in the universe, or me in the universrse with paperhcains sorry paperchase, paper whatsit, knowledge in my heart. You can see one is clearly inferior by being culturally diminished. So I tell you in all ernistness, I have not listened to them because I fear to burden / bespoil / succumb to the paperchains musical glory or otherwise.

(Spellcheck it yourself if it matters.)
:p

I'd completely forgotten Paper Lace until this thread came along, Google tells me they only had three top ten hits apparently. I can remember 'The Night Chicago Died' and 'Billy Don't Be A Hero' but they had one called 'The Black - Eyed Boys' which I can't remember at all.
All their hits were in 1974 when I was 16 and simultaneously struggling with my 'O' Levels and being friendzoned by the girl of my dreams. The word hadn't been invented then but I would have understood it instantly.
