Tai Shan Scheierenberg - Reflections
Saw this last year at a Shoreditch gallery - ever so slighlty obsessed with it. Quite a small piece, A4 size or so.
A rare offering, I imagine. Here are scans of 4 pictures exhibited by Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the mercurial son of Muammar Gaddafi, who was heir presumptive when the Islamic Spring occurred and Britain abruptly changed sides on Libyan affairs.
I saw these in a big exhibition in the Albert Memorial Gardens opposite the Albert Hall - in an air conditioned tent in 2002. (more about the function here Pictures from the activities of the exhibition The Desert is Not Silent by the visual artist Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi in London - الصحراء ليست صامتة)
Pictures of take-away postcards, scanned by me
1. The desert is not silent - mixed media. Picture is of a rug/textile wall hanging
