It's a good format. The Chase is a pretty good format too, to be honest, as these things go.

I like the chase. Has proper pro quizers on it, a good format and 3 sections of the show to keep it interesting for answering at home. It's all a fix though when it comes to the final chase though im sure

That's part of the audition process - they want you to discuss your thinking out loud so they can edit down the programme to the slot. Like, to a ridiculous extent. The team I was in got accepted for the show, but a death meant we had to pull out just before our slot. We got put on the reserve list, and then filming moved from London to Glasgow, and one of the major incentives was gone, so we withdrew.

Never seen it before, but watched S14 y'day. All 28 episodes (they're almost all on YT in 1080p) Don't understand many of the questions/answers, but feel very clever when I get one before the teams. VCM's attempts at humour though Her closing jokes especially... 
I'm sure the jokes about the two question-setters perhaps being the same person might amuse the crew, but why is she so obsessed with Michael Portillo getting bummed?
