Debaser - Crown Control

Impressive Hip Hop sounds from Ethic and Sapient of the Sandpeople Crew.

I've been working my way through "The Rolling Stone Magazines 500 Greatest Songs of All Time".

I'm only up to 112.

Thee Midnighters - In Thee Midnight Hour. Blasting Chicano rock and roll from the mid 60's East LA scene. Some proto Psych but not too trippy.

On the iPod today:

Depeche Mode - Live at Berlin Waldbuhne 2006
Charlotte Gainsbourg - 5:55
Belbury Poly - The Owl's Map
Michel Thomas's French course I appropriated from the internet. Tres bon!

best voice going

George Dalaras - the Ultimate collection.

Probably the best singer you will ever hear.:D
His voice has such a diverseness of range, tones and timbre.
It's hard to think of anyone who could match him.:) :)

Jesus Lizard - Liar. David Yow - the anti-Vedder. It sounds like lord albini stuck a mike outside a 19th century madhouse cell and put the resultant mentalisms over a tight as fuck trio of riffshitters.

They Might be Giants - Spine. Didn't like it much at first as the sound is a bit tame by their standards but it's a grower due to hooks and brilliantly funny lyrics.

Danny Wang - Idealism
Danny Wang - I was a disco malcontent
v/a - Hector El Bambino, El Sangre Nuevo Reggaeton
v/a - DJ Scream, Only the crunk survive

The Best of Screaming Jay Hawkins

the new Shaggy single (it's mint :D )

The Supersuckers - Must Have Been High

The National - Boxer....
