If you haven't already download '... & The Mysterious Production of Eggs' and 'Armchair Apocrypha' - I prefer both of them to 'Weather Systems' :)

Is that the album which is solely made up of Galt MacDermot samples?

If so, I liiiiiike.

Yep, the very same. Best thing on Stone's Throw in a while, imo. He (Oh No) is Madlib's little brother and that's his second album.

It's much, much better than his first, The Disrupt.

:)

Current Hip Hop record of the moment hereabouts:

Super Chron Flight Bros are Priviledge and Billy Woods from NY set The Reavers. This is a cracking record, definitely worth a listen for fans of Cannibal Ox (Vordul Mega is also a Reaver).

I've just ordered 2 Jolie Holland albums which I *very* much look forward to hearing. I also take pleasure in knowing that The Rev hasn't heard of her :D

I dunno tbh but she's got 3 or 4 albums of her own.

Old Fashioned Morphine is really lovely and I'm proud that I'm able to sing it nicely!

Can't find a link, but I'm fairly sure she's left for good now. (-She'll probably go and announce she's rejoined them tomorrow, just to prove me wrong! :D)

I saw her live last year, and she was great. I was trying not to cry when she sung Do You?... :D

I have the wonderful Helga, occasionally of this parish, to thank for opening my ears to Jolie Holland two or three years ago. Cheers! :)
