Miss Kittin: Radio Caroline - one of the best mixes I've heard for a while, a sublime mix of electro/techno treats :)

Spooky - got that on right now!

Also been listening to:

Samba Soul 70!

Jackie Mitto - The Keyboard King at Studio One (and saving up me pennies for his new release - with the Soul Brothers - on Soul Jazz).

Yum, yum.

:D

<cue Twilight Zone music>

;)

If you fancy going to see her, she's playing in London on 5th of December. Don't know anything about it except that it's at somewhere called the Fortress. Don't know where that is - would like to hear one of her sets, though :)

I would, actually.

Really, really like that album and like the 'Electroclash' one she did for Muzik a while back. Is that one she did with The Hacker any good?

Anyway, cheers for that - I'll try to find out a bit more about it; and cheers too, Dub. :)

Aphex Twin - 'Classics'

I'll keep you posted about the gig:)

Do you happen to have a copy of the Musik mix? Would love to have a listen sometime.

The Miss K/Hacker album is nice 'n' sleazy... the tracks work better on an individual basis, as the whole album played right through can get a little samey.

:)

On the CD player today (more accurately, on the internet stream today): Ellen Allien, whose website has a neat little "radio" where you can choose a playlist of five of her tracks.

Cool, much appreciated. :)

Yeah, can do a copy for you no probs; and the other 'un's nice and sleazy, huh? Well, I'm always up for a bit of that, haha - fancy swapsies then? :D

Listening to - again  - Richie Hawtin - DE9: Closer to the Edit. Had to turn it on to drown out that fuckwit Michael Howard on the radio...

A selection of Dennis Brown tunes.

Writing On The Wall (I think that's what it's called) is spinning right now.

A lovely bassy strong tune to start the day. :)

The Handsome Family - Live At Schuba's Tavern
(brilliant bootleg which not only collects all their most beautiful songs but also the entertaining bickering they do onstage)

Bong Ra - Riddim Wars

Throbbing Gristle - DOA

Freakwater - Springtime
