Bedsitter - Soft Cell
Bit of early 80s electro that you just knew would stand the test of time. Too weird and seedy and ran in the face of the Tokyo/Caribbean yachts crap of the era and genre.
On a personal level, despite being a tribal shouty guitars kid at the time, our family ended up in bedsit land of sorts in the 80s and it spoke to me a lot.
