Bill Callahan - Shepard in a Sheepskin Vest; good to have a new release, on first listen it probably doesn't have the stand out track(s) that some other of his LPs do but the album is greater than the some of hits part and as a whole album it is up with his best.
House and Land - Across the Field; excellent American folk music
White Stripes - Get Behind Me Satan. After seeing The Raconteurs recently, thought I'd check it out again. Gods, they were so good. Is there anything current like them out there?
I have now finally finished the task I set myself when MES died last year: to listen to all my Fall albums in chronological order (I don't have them all).
