John Peel used to play this great album all about fat people. Blues/ R'n'B. 'Lord I got a woman, man she weigh fifty ton' was one of it's notable highlights. Another track was 'I'm the fat man' that had the line 'Like all fat men, I'm a real gone guy' in it which I liked. I had a couple of them on tape. I'd love to know what it's called.

You're almost certainly right. That might be a good way to track it down given that I don't know the titles of many of the other songs. I'll have a bit of a Google.
