Apparently they are going to paint a post box in the women rowers' home towns (Penzance and Lossiemouth) gold. Quite a nice touch.

I think the stamps and the golden pillar boxes are a lovely touch.

But it seems a bit rough on Peter Wilson; you can't even see his face in his!
That said, I don't imagine that'll bother him, in the greater scheme of things, what with a big shiny gold medal to his name. But still.

I was going to get some, but you can only get them in strips of 4 for each athlete. Bearing in mind that each stamp is 60p now, it works out quite expensive.

Yeah, and I asked my local PO weeks ago during the Olympics and they only had four different athlete stamps
