We had an urban walk in Norfolk about 5 yrs ago, marty or trashpony should remember where it was. If you like bird watching that was the area to do it in.
We stayed at Deepdale N1 buoy posted a link to on the first page. We walked from there to Wells I think. It was bloody windy! but a good walk.
I've stayed at the Deepdale site a few times and I think it's the best site I've ever stayed on.
Stayed in Weybourne - mainly because I knew there was a 5k parkrun in Sheringham park on the Saturday morning. So I did that (beautiful run - woodland, sea views, steam railway) then seeing as I was still in my running gear I set off for Sheringham and Cromer - which was an enjoyable run and I have a thing for seaside towns (comes from growing up in North Devon I guess).
I wandered around Weybourne a bit in the evening, then on Sunday I set off in the other direction, to Cley, Blakeney etc. I had planned to carry on to Wells-next-the-sea, but the Coast Path had become a bit of a miserable sticky mess that was no fun to walk along so I gave up at Morton and got on a Coasthopper.
Maybe because I was alone, and it was November - but it really did feel like the edge of the world out there. And the coldness meant that sitting round in the van reading the paper was not an option. All in all a really good weekend.
