I think there needs to be a requirement to play one game a year on an outside, naturally frozen rink.
Get rid of the teams from the tropics and desert regions.

It is strange about how much us not-leaf-fans dislike Toronto. It really doesn't matter if we are out of the playoffs, it's all about the loathing of Toronto. I'd cheer for any Canadian team that got to continue, just not Toronto.
