Next London Mayor

NHS nurse and psychotherapist Amy Gallagher has been selected as the Social Democratic Party candidate for the 2024 London mayoral election.

Gallagher says that she is standing in the election as she wants to "push back on woke ideology".

Gallagher rose to national attention after it was reported in 2022 that she was suing the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, alleging discrimination on the basis of her race, religion and philosophical belief, as well as victimisation and harassment. She has subsequently appeared on a number of far right websites portraying herself as a "victim" of what she describes as "woke".

The SDP broadcast. Wtf did I just have the misfortune to watch? 😧

It is getting crowded on the Far-Right.

I still have that weird thing in my brain that when i hear 'woke' i think they mean 'born again christian', which always puts a surreal spin on far right and loon rants.

I've just received the brochure 😱
Nick Scanlo " London is fast becoming a third world cesspit. Where crime is rampant and radical Islamist extremists dominate out streets".
FFS.

Not only that, but a typo on 'useage'. Not voting for that.

He is unpopular, people think he is wrong yet he has a 20 point lead 🤔

"While Sadiq Khan’s victory looks assured, he is nevertheless unpopular overall, with 46% having an unfavourable view of the mayor versus 38% a favourable one. Londoners are divided on his record to date, with 41% saying he has done a good job and 45% saying he has done a bad job"

The apparent paradox may be explained when one considers the principal alternative to the incumbent.

Halls post election speech did not show how awful and bitter she is

"After the results were announced, Ms Hall said she would "continue to hold Sadiq to account, for hard-working families, motorists and women.

"I urge Sadiq to make London better for all our sakes," she added."
