New tunnel under the Thames given the green light

I'd have thought replacing the Woolwhich ferry with a bridge or tunnel would have a higher priority. The banks of the river East of Greenwich are ridiculously divided.

It does look like this tunnel will be much better for buses than Blackwall, mind you. Dedicated lane and tall enough for double deckers.

Maybe this tunnel might work better if they made it public transport only. I'd much rather they fixed Woolwich though, or gave us some more cycling options for getting across the Thames.

It is 2023, Spain is twinned with Io, the tunnel is half built and now they are asking should they setup a bike bus to go through the smog funnel
