Nazi Bonehill gets 3 years inside

I wish he'd been done for inciting violence, rather than hate speech (you could almost certainly frame his actions that way), but regardless, good riddance for the next few years.

It's hard to not think he's a parody .. If he is a parody he's fucked anyway..but look at his website!

About Joshua Bonehill

"Alongside Free Speech, Joshua is working to expose the vast cultural Marxist Jewish conspiracy at the heart of our government to which he has put his own freedom at risk on more than one occasion... Now Joshua is taking a step in the right direction as he leads the way forward to a victorious Nationalist Future where the folk will once again be put first".

His website says "Rolling with the #SummerOfHate theme, I’ve put together the two promotional pieces as displayed above for our Anti-Jewification demonstration in Golders Green on July 4th. Feel free to save them, print them, spread them and incite racial inspiration throughout Britain."

I can't help suspecting that this photo has been taken to make the most of the people who were there. As in, everybody...

Tragic blow for free speech.

*cough*
His website does point out the following:

"Should Hertfordshire Police manage to remove my personal website then effectively Free Speech will have completely died in Britain and we will enter a very sad age indeed." :( :D

Shit-stinking scumbag goes down!!!

On a serious note, should we be locking people up for saying things though?

That the real question isn't it.
Just the other day I was feeling all certain about how if I ruled the world Free Speech would be completely unrestricted etc but that poster up there that he made , the "It'll be a gas' one.. I don't know.:(

In this case though it does look like he was arrested because of the efforts of this organisation:
Bonehill-Paine sentenced to three years and four months for “anti-Jewification” incitement

Should plod be protecting these cunts on their marches & demos anymore, what with all the cuts to budgets?
I think that photo probably shows his biggest rally yet (the one with his mum and dad pissed in the background of a closed pub). Prison costs hundreds a night doesn't it?

Once it gets to the point where violence is being incited, then obviously the law should step in, and to be fair, with some of the stuff he has said he has come close to doing that. I still can't help feel uneasy about the idea of people being locked up for being offensive, as offensiveness is a pretty subjective and wide-ranging concept. These laws regarding inciting hatred are no better, and they are never applied consistently anyway. Just look at what Katie Hopkins gets away with.

A former public schoolboy and briefly a Conservative Party member,[7] Bonehill was sentenced to a 12-month community order involving 100 hours' unpaid work and supervision by the probation service, following an incident on 11 March 2011 in which he broke into and burgled a police station in Chard, Somerset using his Conservative Party membership card, while drunk.[8]

Bonehill-Paine lashed out when efforts were made to arrest him, assaulting two officers in the process. He was found guilty of the offences of burglary, assault and criminal damage, pleading guilty to criminal damage to a flower bed in Preston Road, Yeovil, on 30 March.[7][8]

If it's inciting a crime, or is likely to lead to a crime, yes, since it's not trying to voice an opinion. Inviting a bunch of skinheads over to Golders Green is, at the least, displaying gross recklessness about people's personal safety.

That's why I'd frame it differently, to remove any shred of a free speech defense.
