My big fat obnoxious boss. (E4)

herman

Misunderestimated
This surely has the potential to be the funniest thing on TV.

The premise is the same basically as the "Apprentice" except that the boss and his team are in fact actors who is messing with the heads of a bunch of corporate wannabe contestants.

The challenges are ludicrous, and the "boss" comes out with ludicrous statements which of course are not challenged by the sycophant contestants.
For example when showing the contestants around his mansion he showed them a sword and announced it was the original "excalibur" which went without question and if anything caused the contestants to be impressed.

Ah I thought she said "boots".

I was just about to post this thread - fucking amazing!!!

"The boss" is blatantly a coin he tosses.

Lol looking forward to the next ones - designing a mascot for a company which makes Cyanide :D

This show is utterly brilliant. I've emailed my mate to recommend it and I dont even know if she has e4. :D

well, tbh i wasn't sure whether it was 'boots' or 'boobs', mebbe it was just wishful thinking :D

it's a fox show as well, isn't it?

i was impressed at quite how scornful of business america it seemed to be - blatantly painting these corporate wannabes as venal, self-deluding, amoral and essentially very unpleasant people, with no redeeming features whatever...

just watching the repeat of the first episode, i'm dumbstruck

the first challenge was sending off the two teams onto the street to beg for money... and they're actually lying that it's for charity

stupid fuckwits :D

Ive just googled the show and learned a bit about the show
apparently MR N.Paul.Todd in an anagram of Donald Trump and the name of Mr. Todd's company, "IOCOR", comes from the Latin word meaning "to jest."
(source IMDB).

I am still struck on how the contestants were impressed that the guy was so rich he owned a mythical sword.
