So why was there this bump in drug addiction in 2000-2002 causing problems? Or has it never gone away and it's just less visible?

Nowadays the problems have shifted towards gentrification, rent prices and Foxtons.

If this thread gets bumped again in 10 years' time my guess is that matters of concern amongst us will involve the price difference between the full Waitrose and the two Mini Waitroses, and waiting list times to join the member's club at The Village.
