They’ve basically just murdered Hype Performance Group who were already producing 3rd party stuff like this for MSFS2020

Yeah, I really don't understand why they need to do this after making such a massive deal about the 2020 edition (which was ridiculously expensive and people have spent a lot of money on DLC for it). Seems like this could turn into a bit of an own-goal.

I’m definitely holding off buying it unless I need to. Afaik 3rd party DLC for 2020 will still work for 2024 though.
